8k video camera
I purchased this camera for my aspiring vlogger son. He’s been working toward his goal of becoming a social media sensation. This camera has so many great features. The ability to upload videos directly to social media was one of my main wants. The app for sharing videos and pictures was easy to download, and connecting the camera to the app was simple. The slow-motion feature is great for capturing his skateboard moves. The camera is lightweight, and the size is great for taking on the go. It fits easily in his backpack. The handle helps steady the video, along with the anti-shake feature. The included microphone allows him to create amazing tutorial videos, and the sound quality is crisp and clear. The 8K video quality is decent for the price. The camera charges pretty fast, and the battery lasts for hours. It also came with a second battery, so it can record long enough for the videos he’s creating. The touch screen and included remote help make this an easy-to-use camera. It’s great as a starter video camera, and we’re happy with the purchase.

Can’t get the files off the camera.
I purchased the FlyFrost HDV-255K (actual name: Shenzhen Sonida Digital Technology Co.,Ltd Digital Video Camera HDV-255K) camera from Amazon on December 10th. I received it today Dec 15th. I’ve installed and formatted the SD card and have taken a few test pictures and video to test it. Since then, I’ve been trying to get it to connect for several hours. When I try MSDC mode, I can see it in File Explorer under the USB Drive it’s plugged into, but it will crash File Explorer when I try to open any of the folders. AutoPlay will pop up and drop out about every .8 seconds. For the WiFi, I was able to connect it to my computer. The computer says No internet, secured. I have it set to private network so it is discoverable, and I still can’t find it in Network, or in File Explorer. The only other way I could get the files off the SD card would be to remove the SD card and insert it into an old Windows 7 computer I still have. But what good would that do me? The instructions say to download an app for my Android phone called iSmart DV2. When I read the reviews for the app, it’s populated with pages of 1 star reviews saying the app will not connect, and some say it isn’t even the correct one.Overall, I’d give this camera a 1 star review. What good is it if I can’t get anything off of it.

Solid Beginner-Friendly Camera with Great Quality at Standard Zoom
This camcorder is a good choice for beginners or casual users who want an affordable way to start recording in high resolution. The picture quality is excellent when shooting at standard zoom, with clear, detailed video and sharp resolution. It’s easy to set up, and the touch screen controls are intuitive. There are a couple of trade-offs to note. When zooming in, the video quality drops noticeably, so it’s best used for close-to-medium shots. The included microphone and stabilizer are functional but not as strong as some might expect, especially for capturing audio in busy or noisy environments. That said, for entry-level vlogging, personal projects, or anyone getting started with video recording, this camcorder is lightweight, user-friendly, and capable of producing very nice footage under the right conditions.I also want to know that I would give this Camera 3.5 stars, but since I can’t do half stars, it is worth the 4 stars vs the 3 stars

Best beginner friendly option
My niece is going to love this for making her little ‘vlogs’ and DIY videos! I’ll get right into it, this is a fantastic beginner level option for anyone of most ages to get into photography or videography etc.Pros:Very lightweightConnects to Internet easilyQuick set upLong battery lifeSturdy carrying handleComes with everything neededI have tried it out just to make sure it works, it does! The camera quality is on par with most modern mid-range camcorders in my opinion. It has some built in filters too which is pretty cool, good for her to play around with and find a style she likes. The lens is a decent size and the zoom capabilities are average. The microphone on it sets this camera apart from others because it has a wider range of sensitivity, you can pick up more and the sound is clearer, more crisp. Overall this is what I would consider the best kit for anyone that is just starting out and wants to experiment, learn. It looks professional and has a lot of different options on it as far as recording. The manual for it was easy to understand. It’s made of a nice solid plastic, the hinges on it open smoothly with ease. I’m impressed!

I recently purchased the 8K Video Camera Camcorder for my YouTube channel, and I’m really impressed! The 88MP resolution is fantastic, delivering crisp, high-quality videos that look great even on larger screens. The 18X digital zoom is smooth and gives me flexibility for various shooting angles. I also love the infrared night vision, which is super handy for low-light situations. The 3.0” touch screen is easy to navigate, and the camera feels lightweight yet sturdy in hand. The package is great, as it includes a 32GB SD card, microphone, stabilizer, lens hood, remote, and extra batteries—everything I need to get started right away. The WiFi feature is perfect for quickly transferring videos to my phone or computer. I’ve been using it for vlogs, and the results are impressive. Overall, this camera offers great value for money. Highly recommend it for beginners and intermediate vloggers!

Decent Camera for Price, but, Microphone Not Dependable!
When a buddy and I decided to return to MX racing 25 years after our last checkered flags, the industry magazine that I write for talked us into chronicling our journey with a series of columns and a YouTube, reality series/documentary-type, hybrid show. I purchased this camera to use on a tripod for in-person interviews and trackside for B-Roll and other purposes. (It was recommended that I buy a $2,500 Panasonic, but since this was on my dime, I opted for a far less expensive solution!)The camera has been working great. I was first using the 6K setting, (since the GoPros we mount everywhere are 4k, I didn’t need the 8k setting and only shot with the 6K by accident … because I’m an old motocrosser — not a photographer), which I realized ate up the memory card rather quickly. [A number of missed videos due to full storage, ultimately made me realize my mistake].The color accuracy is pretty good — better than I’d expected from a <$200 camera — video quality was decent and the focus seems to work well. I could give you more details if I were more knowledgeable about this stuff, but the fact is, it’s been pretty darn reliable as a simple, “I don’t know what I’m doing,” point-and-shoot camera, which is what I needed for this project. When we recently began landing sponsors for this effort and had a couple of Beta RX450 race bikes thrown our way, we needed high-res promo stills and superior quality action stills, so I purchased the $2,600 Canon R6 Mark II with lenses that were recommended and, after a couple of weeks of trial & error and watching YouTube instructional videos, I still can’t figure that darn thing out — thank God my wife took over as photographer for that stuff and is learning all the settings! — so, I’m thrilled that this camera was so easy by comparison! The battery life on this camera is good, I suppose. It’s supposed to come with two batteries, (mine was missing one, but I reached out to the company and they immediately sent me another — kudos to them for being awesome with customer care!), and I get about an hour of constant video recording at 4k from each one.Two things that keep this from getting the fourth and fifth star …1. The included microphone is junk! I am mostly retired, aside from farming and the racing thing, but I still go in and guest on the morning drive show at the iHeartRadio partner station that I co-own, on Friday mornings when I’m available.Wanting to include a snippet of that show in the documentary series, I took this camera one morning and set it up on a tripod with the mic attached and fully charged. When I watched the video later, it had no sound. (Yeah, pretty much useless when filming a radio show🤦🏼♂️).It turns out that the microphone only works some of the time. I’ll turn it on and select the sound setting that I want and the blue light may or may not come on/stay on. Wiggling, jiggling and fidgeting with wires and the mount seem to do nothing, so I haven’t yet figured out why this is happening. In any case, you only get one chance when filming video organically, so a crappy microphone costs those shots. (And if you’ve got the mic plugged in and it doesn’t work, the camera’s built-in mic won’t activate, so you simply have no sound).I’ve begun using it without the separate mic connected and relying on the internal mic or rubbing secondary audio recording with another device, although the latter is a pain in editing.2. The screw on framing hood [my term as I don’t know the proper name of that piece — again, not a photographer/videographer — doesn’t stay tight and often comes off.If you tighten it tight, so as to avoid it spinning and ultimately falling off, then it’s at an angle. I’m afraid that turning it another 1/8th-turn past “very snug” will break/strip the few threads that hold the very light plastic hood.I feel that resolving both of these issues would give this thing 5-stars in my book. And frankly, I would’ve awarded it only 3 stars due to those two issues, but because their customer service was very good about my missing battery, I felt that a fourth star was deserved, since customer care is a huge part of any product’s worthiness. All in all, excellent for the low price, but do know that the mic and plastic hood aren’t up to snuff with the camera’s level of quality. But hey, it ain’t $2,600, so that’s a huge plus in my book!

Good value, nice features
I’ve used this one time. It’s a useful combination kit that works well. The appearance is good. I highly suggest you get optional lighting because the flip out light is not to brag about. The setup is fairly easy. It’s definitely portable. It has decent versatility. Not only do I use it by hand conducting interviews and video logs but I also mount it to my e-bike occasionally when I go for a ride.
