    LOVE THIS

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is hands down the best camera you’ll find for its size. The image quality is incredible, the 1” CMOS sensor delivers impressive results, and the 4K/120fps capability gives us amazing flexibility for professional-looking content. The stabilization is outstanding, autofocus is fast and reliable, and the face/object tracking makes shooting effortless. What’s most impressive is how much complete video production power is packed into such a compact device—we’ve been able to run full-scale video production with just this camera. For creators, vloggers, or anyone who wants serious performance in a portable package, this device is absolutely phenomenal.

    Tiny camera, surprisingly powerful

I bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for casual vlogging and quick social media clips, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The stabilization is incredible — footage looks smooth even when walking, and the built-in gimbal makes it effortless to get cinematic shots without extra gear. The 1-inch sensor performs really well in different lighting conditions, and the rotating touchscreen makes switching between horizontal and vertical shooting fast and intuitive. Audio quality is also solid, especially when paired with DJI’s wireless mic system. What surprised me most is how convenient it is. It’s small enough to carry everywhere, but the video quality rivals much larger cameras. If you want a portable camera for vlogging, travel, or content creation without dealing with bulky equipment, this is an easy recommendation.

    Incredible Little Camera

The DJI Osmo Pocket completely exceeded my expectations. For such a small and compact device, the video quality is amazing and the built-in gimbal makes every shot incredibly smooth. It’s perfect for travel, vlogging, or capturing everyday moments without carrying a big camera. One of my favorite features is the stabilization—even while walking, the footage looks professional and steady. The 1-inch sensor and 4K recording deliver sharp details and great colors, even in low light. The rotating touchscreen and intelligent tracking also make it very easy to use. You can quickly switch between vertical and horizontal video, which is perfect for social media content.Overall, it’s a powerful camera that literally fits in your pocket. If you’re a content creator, traveler, or just want better videos without carrying heavy equipment, the DJI Osmo is absolutely worth it.

Incredible travel and creator camera — exceeded expectations

I used the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 extensively on a Europe trip (including Scotland) and have continued using it regularly for my day-to-day YouTube channel, and it has been outstanding. The image quality is excellent, especially in mixed and low-light conditions, and the 3-axis gimbal stabilization is seriously impressive for such a small device. Walking shots, city footage, and handheld vlogging all come out smooth without any effort. The larger sensor and fast autofocus make a noticeable difference compared to previous generations. For travel, this camera was perfect—compact, quick to deploy, and discreet, yet capable of producing footage that easily matches much larger setups. Battery life was more than enough for full sightseeing days, and the built-in mic quality is surprisingly good for casual talking-head shots. For content creation, it’s become a go-to tool for B-roll, quick talking segments, and grab-and-go filming when pulling out a full camera rig isn’t practical. If you travel, vlog, or create content regularly and want high-quality stabilized video in a truly pocket-sized camera, the Osmo Pocket 3 is absolutely worth it.

In a class of it’s own. Excellent for beginners or Pros

Pocket 3 is just in a class of it’s own. This camera is a beast and is everything I hoped the 3 would be. It’s really versatile and is handy for so many situations.Having a gimbal camera this small is just so handy. It’s relatively low key and doesn’t draw too much attention. While walking around It’s easy to set and forget while recording thanks to the gimbal. The rotating screen is a much needed upgrade from the postage stamp size screen on the previous pockets. The screen also makes turning the pocket on and off super easy.If you’re not in a situation that requires an action cam this is generally the best choice for an ultra portable handheld camera. Video quality is incredible, 4k 60 10bit is awesome, and it even does 120fps slow mo. The 1inch sensor does really well in low light and is even able to get some natural shallow depth of field, something an action cam won’t ever give you. This is kinda the opposite of an action cam; it’s got a really nice field of view that is a lot narrower than an action cam and has no fish eye at all, it’s also really fragile and not waterproof. It’s strengths are what tend to be an action cams weakness and vice versa. This thing is amazing for so many use cases. I don’t vlog but it sure would be good at that, the camera can turn around and face you at the click of a button and will even get a little bit of boca behind you. It’s great for travel, small and lightweight, you can get great video exploring and walking around and don’t even have to pay much attention where you point it. The pocket 3 also works really well mounted on top of a mirrorless/DSLR, I used it to capture roving video while I focused on photography, But you could even use this on a video camera as an all in one “B Camera”.This thing is just all around awesome and is an excellent addition to any video kit, beginner or pro.

    Awesome Vlogging Camera!

A great camera that shouldn’t be underestimated. The camera produces awesome 4K footage while also providing stability for the shots. Battery life is only 1300 mAh so shooting in 1080p or 4K can vary, however the fast charging helps out a ton.

Great features, improved a LOT since Pocket 2… BUT we can’t use it

I ordered this camera to replace my DJI Osmo Pocket 2, which I’ve liked, but – oh my! – the Pocket 3 has SO many FAR better features for travel vlogging!Unfortunately, the Pocket 3 also stops working (after the 5th time you turn it on), if you don’t “activate” it via an app on your phone.Well, I had mixed feelings about that, but – for such a great camera – I decided to take a chance on privacy issues, and activate the app anyway.BUT THEN…The app isn’t on Google Play for a reason: When I researched the issue, it comes down to GDPR standards. Apparently, the DJI Mimo app – used to activate the camera – doesn’t meet those standards. So, I could download the app to my Motorola phone, but the app wouldn’t install. It was blocked by Motorola for safety and privacy reasons (per the pop-up window).Of course, the app wouldn’t even download to my husband’s Google Pixel phone.I’m stunned that a $500+ camera can’t be used, fresh out of the box, without jumping through more hoops… some requiring me to buy another phone. But more than that, I’m terribly disappointed. I’d waited weeks to receive this camera. And, at first glance, this camera looks great, and has SO many wonderful features, I was delighted that I’d purchased it… until I realized I can’t use it at all. This isn’t a new issue. In forums, I see that DJI has known about this since 2023. I’m not sure why they won’t comply with GDPR standards to solve this problem.Until they do, I’m sad and disappointed, and cannot recommend the camera at all. This might have been a five-star review. The camera looks great, and – until it quit working – everything about it impressed me.Instead, I can only give it one-star.I hope this is a warning to others to check if their phones accept (and will install) the DJI Mimo app, before buying this camera.

GREAT camera, not great battery life

This camera is honestly amazing. It’s so powerful for such a tiny little thing! The video is so crisp and clear, & autofocus + the gimbal make it easy to get the perfect shot, AND it’s SUPER portableBUTThe battery life is objectively awful for long shooting sessions. You will definitely need some kind of power bank if you plan on recording for more than an hour at a time. The app is incredibly useful and I love that you can move the gimbal and adjust the focus through it and that you can essentially use your phone or tablet as a monitor during shoots!Overall a great product 🙂
