A real grown-up maker.
This is actually the second one of these I have purchased. This one for my dad. The first was for me, and I thought I already gave it a review. When I like something this much, I try to be sure and pay it it’s dues.I am now fifty-five years old. I have always done the vast majority of my own repairs. Be it washers, dryers, air conditioners, cars or anything that needs fixing. It is a principle that was passed down to me from my father, and somehow I managed to pass it right on through to my son. A gentleman Z no less. My whole life I have managed to do this on small, often piece-mealed, sets of tools.I initially stumbled across this set on a sale and scooped it up. I can’t explain the difference it has made in my life. It is darn near a perfect set of tools. Anything that would seeminglymake it more perfect, such as screwdrivers or open-end wrenches, would also make it entirely unwieldy, taking it further away from perfect rather than bringing it closer to perfect. Heck, maybe it is perfect. It seems like somewhere along the way there was a tool that I needed, and would have expected to find, but wasn’t in there. I’m sticking with almost perfect. This set makes me feel like I am finally an adult. If you are young, buy this set, and protect every piece of it. Always keep them together and one day be proud of how every piece is still in there. Always do a thorough scan before closing the box to make sure you have everything in it’s place. However, be sure to forgive yourself if your car eats one if the pieces. It’s weird, but it happens. The quality on every single piece, even the box, is top notch. They even slapped a lifetime warranty on them because they think so too. I can’t imagine needing to use it. These tools are tough. I changed out the timing chain on my truck and put many of them to the test. That is a big, scary, difficult job, and every piece was up to the task. The selection is also very well thought out. Every conversion, every extention and pretty much every size and shape socket is right there waiting for you. If I had a complaint, it would be a misguided one as it would be about the fact that the sockets are hard to get out of their assigned space. A dumb complaint because they would likely be scattered in a pile at some point if they hadn’t designed the case this way. A minor annoyance that I will gladly live with to keep an organized box. I haven’t entirely decided, but I believe it is better for the longevity of the box to pry from the end of the socket that attaches to the wrench. I think it will serve me best in the long run. The box is very solid and has four latches that click into place with ease and make for a very secure toolbox. I should probably point out that it is pretty heavy. I actually took pause getting one for my dad for that reason. He is eighty-three, and while still an animal, just not as strong as he used to be. I had to get him one, though. He has been admiring mine for awhile now, and his drool is going to wreck the finish on my sockets. Of course I am joking. The finish is really good too. I can wipe the drool right off with no ill effect. If you got this far, go ahead and take the plunge. You won’t regret it. There is nothing like having really nice tools and all in one place when you are battling it out with your check engine light. I wish I had them my whole life, but I appreciate them more because I did not.

Great tool
Love this set! Snagged this at a great price and well it brings so many sockets and no crappy fluff accessories. I hate when you buy a tool set and it brings 30 bits and these count in the total amount of tools. Nope not this set, no fluff here, all genuinely sockets and wrenches!

Excellent Quality Tool Set for Any Car Work!
I bought this mechanic wrench set for my husband, and he’s really impressed with it! The tools are solid, heavy-duty, and feel like professional quality. Everything comes neatly organized in a sturdy case, so it’s easy to keep the pieces in order. He’s already used it several times on our car and truck, and the sockets fit perfectly — no slipping or cheap feel. The ratchet works smoothly, and the variety of sizes makes it perfect for both small and big repair jobs.Overall, this is a fantastic tool set for the price. Great for home mechanics or anyone who loves working on cars. Highly recommend!

Dewalt 192 piece tool set
This is the second set of Dewalt tools I have bought. This is a pretty compleat set of sockets, ratchets, extentions, and Allen wrenches. The quality seems to be pretty good. I carry this tool set in the car. It is heavy and a little bulky, but the tool coverage is really good except for wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers.

A fantastic set!
Bought this to replace three smaller sets of Craftsman sockets that I keep tossed in the back of the truck. This set is very complete. The case is BIG! It’s not too unwieldy though, but be prepared for a large case! Sockets seems easy to get into and out of their respective places. Sometimes these blow molded cases are either extremely difficult to get out, or everything falls out when you open it. This seems to be a nice in-between. Some might mention the 72 tooth ratchets, yeah they’re not 90 tooth, but I’ve got a set of 90 tooth at home that will pair fine with these. For what 99% of people will ever use this for, a 90 tooth isn’t really needed.

***** Extreme high quality product and inventory options, inexpensive price
My God !!! This is as big as a dinner table and dinner table weight !!! Watch the videos. Even they can’t show you the immensity of this set, when you open up this socket box as big as a baby coffin !!! Weight ? Expect back pains if you even think about carrying this about. Weighs 37 pounds, feels like 75. The very reason why there are FOUR latches on the sides !!! The value for money here is beyond overwhelming. These are brute pieces with a lust for wanting to tackle hard nuts and bolts !!! Extreme functional and multi-use items. Carrying handle of this container is well made with a sturdy grip. You can do ANYTHING with this kit, except for pulling a rabbit out of your hat ! Extremely high quality, inexpensive price. Quick delivery. Kudos to DeWalt for this package, one satisfied new customer that will keep coming back for more items.

Nice set. Bad ratchets.
-The good:Oh man, this is everything you need for home repairs & general car maintenance! I really like that this thing is almost all sockets. And if they were going to add something, the hex wrenches are perfect: doesn’t take up a bunch of room and they get a lot of use. The chrome finish is outstanding, too. I see these lasting forever and being passed down to the next generation. I am really impressed with this set, especially at the holiday sale price at 2/3 off the retail price.- The not-so-good:These ratchets are really bad. I don’t mean cheap or badly made, just badly designed. First off, they’re HEAVY! I read in a previous review that this was the case but thought, “How bad can it be?” Well, having gotten the set I gotta say, it’s bad. I agree with one reviewer that the heaviness is unnecessary too. Why? There’s no point in it! I’ve had a lot of ratchets and none of them feel like these. These things are like barbells, unwieldy with terrible balance! They just don’t feel right when you hold them. Also, another reviewer said that the ratchet mechanism is not good. I agree. It feels chunky and gritty on the pull back. Maybe it needs to be oiled or takes time to break in. I’ll probably give these ratchets away or keep them for emergency use.But I want to say that this is a great set because it is the largest, most comprehensive collection of sockets I have ever seen in a set like this, and it has a killer case that keeps everything together nicely. Yes, it is heavy – like, boat anchor heavy! But if you put all these sockets in one set, it’s going to weigh a lot. No way around that. They could shave off a few ounces by have wrenches that are a little lighter, however.PS. Hey reviewer, Ashley M. with the video, the socket is on the wrong way. If you flip the socket and connect the other end to the ratchet it’ll be a lot less wobbly; I promise, lol!!!🤣🤣🤣
